Esteban & Javier, Owners of Tres Amigos

As young men, brothers Esteban and Javier Najera explored the idea of starting their own business. Although neither man had business experience or capital for their venture, each had a big heart and an eagerness to forge into the challenge of business ownership. So, with an old pick-up truck, an air compressor and $500 in cash they went into business. At the same time Javier stayed in college part time while working full time at the shop. Esteban also took classes and performed volunteer work at his local church, Saint Patrick's Proto-Cathedral. In the early days, it was tough and, whenever they completed a job running to the bank to deposit the check immediately was a common occurence. But as they became known and their reputation spread they developed a solid, dependable business with a large base of loyal customers. And although it was a very challenging time for Esteban and Javier, it was also very rewarding.

Esteban Najera
Owner, Manager, Service Writer, Tow Truck Driver, Outside Sales

Esteban has been a hard-working man all of his life. He started his family at a very young age and has always been very responsible. He and his wife, Esther, are the proud parents of two boys and one girl. Esteban has grown to be what is known as street smart — and is a knowledgeable, friendly and hard-working guy. Like he always says of himself, "I work hard to put food on my table," and that is exactly what he does daily, he works very hard.

Javier Najera
Owner

Javier graduated from San Jose University with a B.S. as an Industrial and Systems Engineer in 2003. It is no surprised to anyone who knows Javier that he graduated at the top of his class and also made the Dean's list in 2002. After graduation, Javier decided to stay with the family business, rather than pursue other opportunities.

"My family has been involved in the auto industry for many years. I know how important quality work is when it comes to your automobile. As a little boy I would help my older brothers fix cars and make some extra cash. I graduated from San Jose State University from the Industrial and Systems Engineering Program, and with the knowledge obtained from San Jose State I am able to understand how important quality service is and how to control it." — Javier

Pedro Master Technician Pedro continually takes new courses to stay on top of new automotive technology. He is enrolled in and thriving in the Car Quest Technical Institute (CTI) Program — A leading technician training program in the automotive industry.	Jorge Technician Jorge is our resident specialist in brakes,suspension systems, and tires. And he too, is enrolled in the CTI Program.
Rigoberto Technician Rigoberto is our expert in tires and road side assistance.	Esther Esther is our financial whiz and handles Accounts Payables and financial matters.
